Are you getting rid of your unwanted furniture or electrical appliance? Is it in good condition? Could someone else reuse it?
If your answer is yes to all three, then think about getting in touch with a local furniture reuse charity in Telford and Wrekin and Shropshire. We are proud to support these charities as it saves items from going to landfill and helps people throughout the borough.
Requirements of recycled furniture:
- goods must be good quality
- fabric items must have fire labels
- electrical goods must be in working order
- fridges should be no more than six years old.
Items that are suitable for reuse can be collected free of charge and sold at a low cost to people on low income.
You can find information about the types of furniture, electrical appliances and other items that can be re-used on the The Shropshire Community Project website.
Not suitable for reuse?

Alternatively we provide a bulky items collection service charges start from £18. See bulky item collections for more details.
