One to one IT help
We offer free one to one IT help with volunteers, please contact libraries for more information and to book your place, the one to one sessions are available at the following libraries:
Free First Click courses
A free course of two sessions (each two hours long) that will run on consecutive weeks. The course is a basic introduction to using a computer for complete beginners.
It will cover:
- how to use use a mouse and keyboard
- basic word processing
- searching the Internet and emailing.

Learn My Way - online computer courses
Our main libraries are UK Online Centres offering free access via the Learn My Way website to lots of useful short courses which you can follow at your own pace:
- online safety
- online basics
- finding a job online
- using your computer or device
- online shopping and social media
- managing your money online.
Create an account to keep track of your learning and use interactive exercises and modules to find both the skills and confidence you need. Ask library staff for more information about how to make it easy to improve your IT skills.
Computer Drop-In sessions - provided by the Senior Citizens' Forum
IT Volunteers from the Telford Senior Citizens' Forum are available at various locations in the community to provide advice, guidance and IT help. No need to book just drop in.
