Park Live

Following the success of last year's event, Park Live is making a welcome return to the Arena in Telford Town Park on Saturday 4th September 2010.

The event, which last year attracted almost 4,000 visitors is once again being supported by Telford & Wrekin's Find Your Talent pathfinder and organised by the council's Arts & CultureTeam in conjunction with Telford & Wrekin Music and the Find Your Talent pathfinder.

Local bands who would like to play at this outdoor music festival are invited to email findyourtalent@telford.gov.uk with information about their band and if possible a web link to showcase their music.

Find Your Talent is funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Department for Children, Schools and Families, Arts Council England and the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council Find Your Talent and is working locally to increase the number and range of arts and cultural activities available for children, young people and families locally.

The Park Live event is part of Telford & Wrekin Council's plans to improve the quality of life for residents and to encourage people to use the wonderful parks and open spaces in the borough.
