Pre placement agreement
The Council and Shropshire Partners in Care (SPIC) have worked together to develop a contractual framework for purchasing care from residential and nursing homes for older people in Telford and Wrekin. The framework is in the form of a Pre Placement Agreement (PPA).
The Pre Placement Agreement is a type of contract, and the Council's expectations on how we will do business are defined within the terms and conditions section of the Agreement.
The Specification for Residential Care and Specification for Nursing Care also form part of the contract, and explain the outcomes that the Council expects from its purchasing arrangements.
The Monitoring Schedule details the arrangements for long-term partnership working between the Council and care homes, so as to safeguard individuals and increase service quality.
