Telford & Wrekin Council – in partnership with RICOH UK Products Ltd – is putting on an extensive programme of activities for children and young people who have a TLC this summer.
All of the council's leisure facilities will be used including the nine leisure centres, Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre, Horsehay Village Golf Centre and the new leisure facilities at the Abraham Darby Academy.
Sports covered are incredibly diverse from snorkelling to cheerleading, from street dance to tobogganing, from ice hockey to trampolining.
Councillor Liz Clare, cabinet member for Leisure Services and Culture, said: "there is something for everyone and it doesn't matter how long the sessions are, if they are led by a qualified coach or supervised by leisure centre staff, they only cost £1 and are available to TLC holders only.
All we ask is that you book in advance so we can plan the session according to numbers attending and to avoid any disappointment.
We hope that all our young TLC holders will have a fantastic and active summer taking part in the many activities that we have available. I would like to thank RICOH UK Products for their support."
A full list of activities, times, dates and venues can be found at http://www.telfordandwrekinleisure.co.uk/.
Anyone wanting a TLC can pick one up from their nearest Council leisure centre, library or First Point facility. Cards must be registered at www.telford.gov.uk/tlc.
The TLC is part of the Co-operative Council programme and is sponsored by Telford College and AFC Telford United.
