Catering Assistant

Catering Assistant Required

NJC Scale 1 SCP 6 £7.78 per hour

Basic 16hrs per week

This position involves the cooking of breakfast meals, and ensuring efficient operations in accordance with Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

Main tasks include;

  • Cooking  and serving of breakfast
  • General kitchen and dining room duties
  • Setting up dining room
  • After service washing up, and cleaning of equipment and food preparation areas
  • Safe food storage

Ideal person will have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, and possess a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above. Training will be provided to fulfil the requirements of the role. Hours may increase during the main season, including some dinner services and weekend work.

Annual leave entitlement is pro rata based on 23days and 8 bank holidays plus 1 concessionary day.
