Question: How long would I foster a child for?
Answer:
We are looking for lots of families where a child can stay. How long a child stays will depend on what you are able to offer but also what they need. Some families offer a home until the family situation is resolved, which can be one week or a year, whilst other families offer a home until the child is an adult (or older). This will be discussed with you by a social worker.
We are looking for all sorts of carers, some children only need a short period of time away from the family home whilst other children will need a permanent home. The right sort of placement will be discussed with you so it fits in with your lifestyle and our children's needs.
