Sensory and Assistive Technology team drop in
The Sensory and Assistive Technology team will be available on Wednesday's from 9am till 4pm at the Independent Living Centre.
We have assistive equipment on display that could make life easier for people with physical or sensory disability, or long term conditions.
The aim of our service is to raise awareness of the simple technology that is available from the high street to assist people to remain independent at home. We have volunteers who have used this equipment themselves to help and advise you where to purchase equipment.
You can either drop in and see us or you can book an appointment to ensure you have your conversation with the most appropriate person and that your communication needs are met during your visit. When you make contact, let us know if you need an interpreter.
Live Well Hubs - Adult Social Care information and advice drop in
These hubs are run by Adult Social Care staff in the community, they offer free, friendly information and advice. No appointment is necessary.
