The Wrekin Rider is a bus service run and managed by Telford & Wrekin Council that provides the opportunity for people living in the rural area to access transport and get to the services and facilities they need.
Wrekin Rider buses are all fully accessible. A number of the services also connect to the larger commercial bus routes for onward travel to the main towns both within Telford and Wrekin and beyond.
All journeys must be pre booked by phoning 01952 388000 between 9am and 3pm - lines are open daily Monday - Friday - excluding bank holidays.
The service operates between 10.30am and no later than 1pm at the pick-up point Mondays to Fridays, excluding bank holidays, and can take you to most places in the urban area of Telford (excluding hospital appointments).
Journeys must be booked a week in advance. Early booking is essential to get the time you want and to avoid disappointment.
Fares are charged a £2 each way. English Concessionary Travel Passes are accepted.
Please note: we are not able to transport mobility scooters for safety reasons.
