Legionnaires' Disease

Legionnaires' Disease is a rare but occasionally fatal type of pneumonia caused by the legionnella bacterium.

Employers have a responsibility to ensure that they comply with legislation that requires you to manage, maintain and treat water systems in their premises. This may include appropriate water treatment and cleaning regimes.
