Over the past few years, the number of homes we provide a kerbside collection service to has increased, as a result we need to make sure our collection service is as efficient and effective as it can be. From September 2019 we will be re-routing some of the current collection rounds, enabling our contractor (Veolia) to make them more efficient, as well as reducing their carbon footprint.
This means that some households will find that their collection day (bin day) has been changed.
All households will receive their annual calendar between 19 and 31 August, delivered through the post by Royal Mail, which will provide details of your collection day and the schedule of what containers are to be collected from September 2019 onwards.
Households that have a change of collection day will receive an additional postcard providing further details of the change.
