Bikeability

Bikeability is the national programme for cycle training in England and Wales. It is based on the national standard for cycle training. 

The scheme is the 21st century version of 'cycling proficiency'. It teaches cyclists skills and tips on how to cope with cycling on today's roads.

Bikes 4 Kids

Bikes 4 Kids is a local charity set up to assist children in getting access to bikes and cycling. The charity collects old and new bikes to distribute to children of all ages, who may not be able to afford a bike of their own.

Learn to Ride Shropshire

Learn to Ride Shropshire offer one to one sessions for personalised training at a time and date and place to suit you. All ages and all abilities including special needs.

National Trust

For families with little ones starting to learn to ride, Attingham Park has acres of parkland to explore. They welcome children under 5 on trikes, starter bikes with stabilisers, balance bikes (no pedals), and under 11s on push/kick scooters (sorry no standard bikes).

Newport Cycling Club

Newport Cycling Club offer cycle coaching sessions for children of any age who have progressed beyond stabilisers/balance bikes. Sessions are designed to be fun whilst increasing riders' skills and confidence. Newport Cycling Club is a British Cycling accredited 'Go-Ride' club. All coaches are British Cycling L1, L2 or L3 qualified, DBS checked, First Aid trained and Safeguarding qualified. Newport Cycling Club won BBC Midlands Community Sports Club of the Year in 2018.

Telford Bike Hub

Telford Bike Hub is now open and is bringing cycling back to the heart of Telford Town Park.

They offer bike hire at affordable prices as well as training courses.
