  • Cabaret Night - "War time"

    Cost: £50 per couple or £5 show only

    Meal, Cabaret Show & bottle of Wine. Tables 2,4,6,8,10 available. Tickets also available for those who just wish to watch the show and enjoy a drink £5.

  • Hadley and Leegomery Parish Council World War One event

    Location: Castle Farm Community Centre, High Street, Hadley, Telford, TF1 5NL

    Cost: Free

    There will be a number of events taking place to commemorate the centenary of World War One.

    An exhibition of information and artefacts relating to World War One, including a feature on Hadley War Memorial, with a talk on Friday evening (time to be confirmed) by Simon Jarman MBE on the realities of life for servicemen during World War One.

    The exhibition is in the Community Centre on Friday and Saturday, open to the public, and on the Saturday Simon will be doing a field cooking demonstration using equipment and ingredients as used in World War One.

    On the Sunday morning there will be an ecumenical service of remembrance also at the Community Centre.

  • Friends Sensory Garden Opening event

    Location: Chelsea Gardens Telford Town Park

    Official opening of a new Sensory Garden located within the Chelsea Gardens created by The Friends of Telford Town Park.

    Opening ceremony at 1pm of the new Friends Sensory Garden by the Mayor of Telford and Wrekin. Supporting event from 12.30pm - 2.30pm to include; garden tours, arts and crafts, live music and refreshments.

    All welcome.

    Ever wondered what was behind the green gates? Enjoy free entry to Sunnycroft for one day only as part of Heritage Open Day. Enjoy watching apple pressing by the stables.

    The National Trusts property Sunnycroft - an Edwardian gentleman’s suburban villa. This substantial red-brick villa is typical of the many thousands that were built for the prosperous middle classes in the late Victorian period. Sunnycroft is one of the very few villas to have survived, with a mini estate and largely unaltered contents and decoration. 10:30 am - 4pm Free event. Check in at our Ticket Hut on arrival to gain free access.
