  • Witnesses Focus on Loyalty at Telford International Centre “Remain Loyal to Jehovah!” 2016 Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

All are welcome to attend each day from 9.20am. Seats are free and no collections will be taken.

The entire convention in Telford will be presented simultaneously in English, Gujarati and Punjabi. Why attend? Loyalty as a quality is key to building good relationships, close communities, and strong family ties. The programme will explain the Bible’s practical value in coping with anxieties and dealing with problems.

The three day event will feature 49 short presentations, each exploring the theme “loyalty”, and including 35 specially prepared video segments, special musical recordings and two short films (Saturday and Sunday). Please view a brief trailer film.

The public address on Sunday at 11.20am is entitled: “When Will Loyal Love Triumph Over Hatred?”

  • Town Park Discovery Ride
  • Date: Wednesday, 10 August 2016
  • Location: Telford Town Park (meet outside the Visitor Centre)
  • Time: 10:30 - 14:00
  • Cost: £9
  • Explore the park on two wheels! A fun and enjoyable ride with picnic stop! Suitable for children ages 6+ years who can ride without stabilisers.

Our ever popular Town Park Discovery Ride takes place again this summer.

The ride sets off from Telford Town Park Visitor Centre and trails along the many paths around the park. The ride includes a picnic stop and an activity sheet, riders get to safely explore the park and discover many interesting facts about the parks history and its surroundings. The ride is approx. 4 to 6 miles in distance with several shorts stops. The picnic lunch will take place next to the iconic Stirchley Chimney.

Children must be able to ride without stabilisers to take part. Children must bring their own lunch and drinks. Parents are not required to stay for the ride but are more than welcome to join the ride if they wish.

  • This is a day bursting with fun and exciting cycling games, suitable for children aged 6 - 16 years

Bike Club is a fantastic day where children learn bike handling and control skills through a series of games and challenges.

This is a great confidence building session and is open to anybody who can ride without stabilisers. Bikes must be in good working order. Children must bring a packed lunch.
