Health and Wellbeing Toolkit

Welcome to the Health and Wellbeing Toolkit, created by Telford & Wrekin Council’s Health Improvement team - a place where schools, settings and professionals can find and access trusted, quality assured health and wellbeing resources to use in the classroom as well as in a whole setting approach and home environment.

Within this toolkit you will find resources relating to physical activity, food and nutrition, and mental and emotional wellbeing, which all contribute to a child’s overall health and wellbeing as well as having a positive effect on their education, attainment and behaviour.

The resources found here will also help schools meet requirements for the Relationship, Health and Sex Education (RHSE) curriculum and obtain a Healthy Schools Rating as part of the Active Lives Survey completed for Sport England. It can also support practitioners working with individuals or family groups to improve their health and wellbeing.
