Special Education Notice: Anti-Bullying Week 2021
Did you wear your odd socks today?
Today is Odd Socks Day, which kicks off Anti-Bullying Week 2021. Pupils and teachers all over the country will be showing off their own odd socks, to show that we are all unique and different.
The day is fronted by CBeebies presenter Andy Day, who is also a patron of the campaign. As in previous years Andy and his aptly names band, The Odd Socks, have recorded a theme song for the event.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme.
