Who can get involved? |
We must consult with • The Chief Officer of Police; • One or more persons who appear to the authority to represent the interests of persons carrying on gambling businesses in the authority’s area; • One or more persons who appear to the authority to represent the interests of persons who are likely to be affected by the exercise of the authority’s functions under the Gambling Act 2005. There are no restrictions on who can get involved, as in theory everyone could be affected by this Statement of Principles. |

What happens next? |
The full list of comments made and the consideration by the Council of those comments will be available once the consultation process has ended. The proposed policy will be put to the Full Council on 22nd November 2012 and will be published via our website on 3rd January 2013. |
