• Since 2009/10, the council has delivered savings of £195.3m.

  • Our budget report puts forward proposals that will deliver ongoing savings, including from additional income, of £9.8m from 2026 / 2027.

  • Delivering these savings will create challenges. To minimise their impacts as far as possible, we will be extensively consulting and engaging with the people who use our services and partners.
