Overview of activity

Reviewing the existing information available to members of the public and those who are already in receipt of carers services. The aim is to ensure that we are fully informing people not only of what an unpaid carer is but also the support available to carers across the borough.

We will be reviewing the information to ensure the content is easy to understand and people are fully informed and know where to seek support if it is needed.

Skills and experience required

No experience or knowledge of carers is needed as this information is not only for unpaid carers but also for members of the public who or could become unpaid carers in the future.

Who can get involved

Adults over the age of 18 who may support or look after someone whether a partner, relation or friend.

Support available

Support is available from the co-production team, please advise on your expression of interest what support would help you to take part.

Expected start / end date

We will be holding an in-person Carers Focus Group, the first meeting is planned to take place in February.
