It's free to join our libraries. Anyone of any age can become a library member to borrow books, audio items and access our online resources. Joining the library also gives you free access to our library computers.
How many items can I borrow?
You can borrow up to 16 items on each library ticket and items on loan can be returned to any library in Telford and Wrekin. View infromation on how to find a library in Telford and Wrekin.
These can include:
- audiobooks on CD
- language courses.
How long can I keep a library item for?
Books and most audio items are issued for three weeks and can be renewed up to three times as long as no one else has requested them.
Renewing my library items
Renewing your items is easy. View our online library catalogue to renew your items before they become overdue or please view information on how to contact your local library to renew items.
Current fees and charges
There will be library charges if you keep items out for longer than the loan period. View the current fees and charges for our libraries.
How do I update my personal details
Please remember to let us know if your personal details have changed. You can do this online by viewing our online library catalogue by logging into your account or you can contact your local library by viewing our libraries contact information:
- change of address
- telephone number
- email addresses.
How do I report my library ticket as lost or stolen?
Complete our online form if you have lost your library card or if it has been stolen. A stop will then be placed on your ticket until you next visit the library with appropriate ID.
