Landlord accreditation scheme

The Council now operates a landlord accreditation scheme, where accredited landlords can access online Housing Benefit information concerning the claims paid direct to them; for example, the amounts and claim numbers that make up the latest payment. More information is available on the Telford HomeFinder website.

Landlord Portal

The Landlord Portal enables you to securely access our website and view real time information concerning the benefit payments you are receiving on behalf of your tenants.

The Landlord Portal is simple to use and should also reduce the need for you to have to call us to enquire about Housing Benefit payments.

To request access to the Landlord Portal, simply complete the application form and email it directly back to Landlord.Liaison@telford.gov.uk.

Once returned, we will then register your details and email you your personal user ID, temporary password and link to the Landlord Portal - together with a user guide - within 10 working days.

Data Protection

Please note, unless your tenant has given us permission to discuss their personal information with you, the information we will be able to give you regarding a claim is limited to the details of any payments made direct to you.
