The Telford Teen Travel card is available to anybody living in Telford and Wrekin who is between the ages of 16 and 19. The card will show an expiry date of the day before your twentieth birthday.

The Teen Travel card enables the holder to purchase a Telford Weekly ticket which is presently priced at £18 for adults, at a reduced price of £15 a saving of £3. The card must always be shown to purchase the reduced price ticket and at all times when using the ticket for travel.

How do I apply for one?

Complete the online application form and provide a passport style photograph and copy of a proof of age document.

Please allow 10 working days for your application to be processed and your Teen Travel card to be posted to you.

How much does it cost?

In the first case nothing, the card will be provided for free. If at some point you need a replacement card there would be a charge of £10 – you can apply for a replacement card.

The card is issued by Telford and Wrekin Council to support young people.
