The definitive map is the Council's legal record of public rights of way in the borough it shows footpaths, bridleways, restricted byways and byways open to all traffic and is conclusive evidence of the existence of the rights of way.

Review of charges and procedures
During March 2017 we will be reviewing our Rights of Way Public Path Order procedures. Following the review it is likely that there will be changes to the charges with new terms and conditions being introduced.
