Litter bins - interactive map

There are now around 2,500 litter bins in Telford and Wrekin. These are all carefully sited to encourage people to use them for disposing of litter and dog waste as part of our mission to create a cleaner, greener borough.

Overflowing bins are something we work hard to avoid and our aim is for no litter bin to be more than 75% full. How quickly they fill up, can be unpredictable and seasonal though.

We therefore monitor the rate bins fill up so we can increase or reduce the frequency of how often they are routinely emptied, with some bins emptied daily.

We also encourage residents to report any they spot so we can arrange for a crew to go out and empty them.

View our interactive map for locations of litter bins, when they were last emptied and when they are next due to be emptied.
