There’s lots we can do to help. Find out what support is on offer.

Local energy support

Almost 15 per cent of households in Telford and Wrekin struggle with fuel poverty, spending a large amount of their income on staying warm.

Telford & Wrekin Council have partnered with registered charity Marches Energy Agency to offer residents advice and support via the Telford Energy Advice service.

Together, we are working to help residents save money on energy bills, make improvements to the energy efficiency of homes and help reduce our carbon footprint.

The friendly TEA team can offer support on all domestic energy efficiency matters to keep warm and well at home, including finding the best deals on gas and electricity, help with fuel debt and help you to access grants for home energy efficiency and heating improvements.

For further advice and information on grants and schemes available please contact Telford Energy Advice (TEA) on 0800 677 1952 or email tea@mea.org.uk.
