Full time working hours are 37 hours per week. Some flexibility around working hours is available depending on business needs. The council recognises the need to create opportunities for employees to have greater choice and influence over their working arrangements and we have a variety of flexible working options available to employees.
Telford & Wrekin Council operates modern and flexible working practices including hybrid working (where service needs allow) and hot-desk areas in council offices.
Employees are entitled to reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred in making business journeys in line with council policy.
For work purposes, there is free parking for employees within Telford Town Centre car parks and free on-site parking for individuals whose roles require them to regularly use their vehicle in the course of their role.
