| What can you do with it? | If you discover ammunition, a shell, grenade, suspected unexploded bomb, or any other military artefact, do not touch, move, or attempt to dispose of it. Even items that appear old, damaged, or inactive may still be highly dangerous. Leave the item exactly where it is, move to a safe distance, and keep others away from the area. Contact the police immediately by calling 999 if there is an immediate risk to people or property, or 101 for non-emergency incidents and advice. Trained specialists will assess the item and arrange for its safe removal and disposal where necessary. |
