Bins and recycling - Garden waste

You can put your garden waste in your green bin for a kerbside collection or take it to either of our Household Recycling Centres (HRCs).

Please don't put rubble, soil, turf or treated wood in the green bin.

Please feel free to line your green bin at the base with a sheet of newspaper. This prevents the garden waste sticking and makes it easier to empty the bin without leaving any garden waste behind.

If you have extra garden waste that will not fit inside the green bin you can present this in CLEAR BIODEGRADABLE sacks only, next to your green bin. If you have extra garden waste on a regular basis you can also request additional green bins by calling our contact centre on 01952 384384, please note there is an administration charge of £25.00 for each additional green bin.
