| Which bin/container should I use? | Red top bin |
| What can you do with it? | This type of glass has a different melting temperature to jars and bottles so they can't be placed in the purple top bin. Broken glass panes can be placed inside the red top bin, please ensure you wrap them up safely. Alternatively you can also take your glass panes to our Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) we operate a permit system for some vehicle types so please check our webpage for details before visiting. |
