| Which bin/container should I use? | Nitrous (NOX) gas bottles/cartridges can be taken to either Household Recycling Centre (HRC). |
| What can you do with it? | As these bottles/cartridges contain highly pressurised gas or fuel, they present a significant safety risk if placed in either the red top or purple top wheelie bin. If crushed, punctured, or damaged during the waste collection process, they could cause a fire or explosion. For this reason, nitrous (NOX) gas bottles/cartridges must not be disposed of in a wheelie bin and should instead be taken to an HRC for safe disposal. |
