Looking for a fun, healthy, and affordable way to explore the great outdoors? Telford Bike Hub, located in the heart of Telford Town Park, is your go to destination for cycling adventures.

We will be open for hire during school holidays throughout 2026. Perfect for families, friends, or solo explorers looking to make the most of the school break!

2026 Opening dates for hire:

  • 16 – 20 February 
  • 30 March – 10 April
  • 26 – 29 May
  • 20 July – 28 August
  • 26 – 30 October.

We will be closed on weekends & Bank Holidays.

From Friday 17th April 2026 our staff supported Adaptive Bike sessions will run every Friday from Telford Bike Hub, 11.30am – 1.30pm this session costs £10. We also run sessions from Oakengates athletics track on the first Saturday of the month (excluding May 2026). Booking link for these sessions coming soon.

Telford & Wrekin Council have an array of adaptive cycles which are available to hire from Telford Bike Hub in Telford Town Park.

We support inclusive cycling breaking down barriers to participation and enabling everyone to access the award-winning Telford Town Park on wheels.

The cycles suit both young people and adults with a variety of learning and physical disabilities, as well as health issues.

There are a variety of cycles on offer including trikes, side by side and a wheelchair loader among others. The cycles have varying levels of assistance ranging from hand cycles to carer-controlled functions.

We are cashless and only accept card payments. Electric and Side by Side cycles require a £50 deposit refundable on safe return of the cycle.

The Telford Town Park Visitor Centre has accessible toilets and the closest changing space is in Southwater One just a short distance from The Bike Hub.

Disabled car parking is available in all the car parks surrounding Telford Town Park with the closest being:

  • Dark Lane Car Park, TF3 4HD - this car park is pay & display (payable by cash and card) there is then an accessible route to Telford Bike Hub.
  • Southwater Multi-storey, TF3 4BZ - this car park is pay on exit and also has a lift. Accessible route through Southwater and the park to Telford Bike Hub.
  • Telford International Centre Car Park, TF3 4JH - this car park is pay on exit and has an accessible route through the park to Telford Bike Hub.
