Mayor Nathalie Page

Since her election, Cllr Page has quickly established herself as a dedicated and hardworking local representative.

In 2025, she was appointed Deputy Mayor of Telford & Wrekin, where she played an active role in supporting civic life and promoting engagement across the borough. During her time as Deputy Mayor, she was committed to representing residents with fairness, dignity, and respect, while celebrating the achievements of individuals, organisations, and communities across Telford and Wrekin.

As Mayor of Telford & Wrekin, Councillor Page has set out a clear vision focused on community unity, civic pride, and compassion, emphasising that the role of Mayor extends beyond ceremonial duties, serving as a platform to bring people together, Promote community spirit, Highlight the work of volunteers and local organisations, Support charities and initiatives that improve residents’ lives.

Her chosen Mayoral Charity is the Lingen Davies Cancer Support Sunflower Appeal, which aims to expand cancer services and develop a new facility at Princess Royal Hospital, helping to improve access to care across Shropshire.

A defining aspect of Councillor Page’s leadership is her deeply personal connection to the causes she champions. Her mayoral year is shaped by her family’s experience with cancer, including the loss of her husband in 2020 after a courageous battle with stage 4 oesophageal cancer. Despite a difficult prognosis, treatment and advances in care provided her family with precious additional time together.

She has spoken openly about how this journey reshaped her perspective, reinforcing the importance of time, family, and community support—values that now underpin her approach to public service.

Councillor Page is committed to engaging with residents across every part of the borough, listening to their experiences, and ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported.

During her mayoral year, she will work closely with colleagues across the council, including Deputy Mayor Councillor Raj Mehta, to carry out civic duties and promote borough-wide initiatives. She is also dedicated to working in partnership with health organisations, the voluntary sector, and local communities to strengthen support networks and improve outcomes for residents.
