Help with putting your bins out for collection
Assisted collections
We offer a free assisted bin collection service for residents who might not be able to present their bin/container(s) at the collection point themselves.
On your scheduled collection day your bin/container(s) will be collected, emptied and returned to an agreed location on your property. Please make sure that your bin/container(s) are in the agreed location for 7am on your collection day and are accessible, gates unlocked and any pets secured until the collection has been completed.
If your bin/container is not returned to the agreed location, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for the contractor to comeback and return your bin/container correctly to the agreed location.
Please note: New requests may take up to five working days to process.
Moving home
If you have moved or are planning to move home then please contact us so we can arrange for this service to continue at your new address and avoid any disruption.
Annual reviews
To ensure our records are accurate and kept up to date this service is reviewed annually by sending a form to residents receiving the assisted bin collection service to be completed and returned.
If you still require this service please complete and return the form using the freepost envelope provided.
If you no longer require this service then you do not need to return the form or contact us. Instead you will need to present your bin/container(s) on the public footpath/highway nearest to the edge of your property on the next collection day after the date indicated in the form that was sent to you.
Please note, a label may be placed on your containers to help the collection crew identify that your containers require returning to your property.
