During the period 7 July 2026 to 24 July 2026 routine environmental maintenance operations will be carried out across the dual carriageway network.

The majority of works will be undertaken under full closures.

A variety of essential maintenance works will be undertaken under these closures as follows:

  • gully emptying
  • grass cutting
  • road sweeping
  • street light testing and replacements
  • minor carriageway repairs
  • litter picking
  • hedge cutting
  • tree felling
  • vehicle barrier repairs
  • a variety of highway asset surveys
  • sign repairs.

Please note: that this may be subject to change dependant on adverse weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances out of our control.
