10 by 10 is a commitment to encourage children in Telford and Wrekin to take part in 10 life-enhancing activities by the time they are 10.
The 10 activities are:
- join in competitive team sports
- play an instrument
- learn to swim
- take part in drama and performing arts
- visit the seaside and the countryside
- experience museums, galleries and heritage sites
- take part in camping trips and overnight residential
- learn to ride a bike
- take part in debating
- use a library.
Our new 10 by 10 offer is the start of our endeavour and includes details about how children can get involved.
We are seeking commitment from schools, businesses, community groups, parish and town councils and cultural organisations to work together to increase and promote children’s access to enrichment activities. Telford and Wrekin has an outstanding cultural offer that we are incredibly proud of and is home to thriving many creative industries.
