If you plan to visit Ironbridge on the 6 December 2019, please use park and ride between 9am and 1pm as the Gorge area may be busy and many roads will be closed due to the demolition of Ironbridge Power Station Cooling Towers. View more information about the demolition.

Ironbridge park and ride is a fast and convenient service which is free to park and £1 per adult to ride.

The 250 space Ironbridge park and ride, with excellent connections to the national road network, offers buses every 12 minutes.

    Saturday 20 April 2019 to Monday 22 April 2019
  • May Day Bank Holiday
    Saturday 4 May 2019 to Monday 6 May 2019

  • Beginning of the Summer school holidays until September
    Every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 13 July 2019 until Sunday 8 September 2019 plus August Bank Holiday Monday 26 August 2019

Once in Ironbridge connections to all of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums including; Blists Hill Victorian Town, Coalport China Museum and Jackfield Tile Museum can be made via the Gorge Connect bus service at the Museum of the Gorge bus interchange.

How to get there

Ironbridge park and ride is conveniently located off the A4169 (close to Jiggers Bank roundabout), a short drive from the M54 motorway and is sign posted from all major routes into the World Heritage Site.

The postcode for your Sat Nav is TF4 3QE. However please note that this postcode will not direct exactly to the site, and drivers should follow signs for Ironbridge park and ride which is well signed on approach to the site.
