Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire

The work of Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire is made possible thanks to the help of the Clerk to the Lieutenancy.

The Clerk to the Lieutenancy provides administrative support to the Lord-Lieutenant, enabling requests to be processed. This role is usually carried out by the Chief Executive of the Council.

In Shropshire, this role is supported by the Assistant Clerks to the Shropshire Lieutenancy who are based at Shropshire Council.
