Pay and conditions

  • Offering competitive rates of pay with annual pay increment within grades
  • Paying at least the Real Living Wage 
  • Adopting a job evaluation scheme to ensure equal pay for work of equal value 
  • Providing market factor payments where appropriate, to align our pay with other organisations 
  • Annual pay increments within salary grades 
  • Welcome payments for specific posts in social care and career-graded posts to recognise progression

In addition, our employees can benefit from: 

  • Automatic access to a secure, flexible and tax efficient Local Government Pension Scheme and the opportunity to pay into a salary sacrifice ‘shared cost Added Voluntary Contribution scheme’ to top up your pension
