The report below summarises the results of Hydrogen Sulphide (HS2) monitoring in the vicinity of Granville landfill site, Redhill between 4 July 2024 and 7 October 2024.
Sampling was taken over four-week periods, carried out on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council by the Transport Research Laboratory, with data collected using diffusion tubes and analysed in the report.
The results show an ongoing improvement over the three-month testing period and at all times recorded HS2 levels have been significantly lower than the guideline target used by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) when assessing any long-term impact on human health.
