Advice and support
We understand there are many challenges in life and dealing with an empty property that may be in negative equity, requires total renovations or making safe, has been left by a family member or has become part of a family dispute is no easy task. We are here to try and help. We can give you perhaps the starting point you need to overcome the challenges you face. Discuss how you can move forward and whom would be best positioned to help in the situation you find yourself in or be a “go between” the different parties involved to try and resolve the issues.
The first step is to get in touch with us by emailing empty.homes@telford.gov.uk or by phoning 01952 381461 or phone the contact centre on 01952 381818 who can send a message for us to contact you.
Can I find out who owns an empty property?
We can't tell you who owns a property due to data protection but this information can be obtained from the GOV.UK website for a small fee.
Are you a developer after a list of empty homes in the area?
Unfortunately, we are unable to distribute a list of empty homes in our area due to data protection. However, most properties which we are dealing with through our interventions including enforced sales and order of sales will become available for sale on the popular “for sale” websites for example Rightmove, Zoopla, Market Place and are often available via auction.
