The Council cannot grant a licence for a Scrap Metal Dealers licence unless it is satisfied as to the suitability of the applicant to run a scrap metal business.

When assessing the suitability of an applicant, the Council will have regard to it's Policy for determining the suitability of an applicant for a Scrap Metal Dealers Licence.
