Junior Street Champions

Silhouette of a man, three birds and a tree. Junior Street Champions.

Veolia is working with Telford and Wrekin Council to provide recycling services across the borough.  As part of this commitment to increasing the recycling rate they offer free, fun workshops to primary schools to promote the importance of looking after the environment and recycling.

There are several free interactive workshops on offer, and Veolia are happy to chat with teachers or youth group leaders to explain how the workshops are designed to complement the national curriculum. The workshops can be delivered at your school at a time to suit you, they are fun and flexible and can be adapted to fit with your needs and learning programme, the workshops offered include story time for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) (Reception) and Key Stage 1 (KS1), to recycle races, lunch box challenges and much more for KS1 and above.
