A41 Resurfacing Forton Roundabout to Buttermilk

On Monday 24 July 2023, major improvement works started on the A41 from Forton roundabout to Telford and Wrekin's northern Shropshire boundary.

This road first opened in 1985 (almost forty years ago) and essential maintenance is required to maintain safety. The work being carried out has been meticulously planned for the most effective method, to minimise the length of time the road needs to be closed for and for when traffic levels are at their lowest.

The project is currently on track to complete according to schedule by 3 September 2023.
