Together 4 Children

Together4Children is a partnership between Shropshire Council, Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Telford & Wrekin Council. They are the regional adoption agency for the four councils. They also provide other services and initiatives that support children’s permanency.

ACE Education

Our advice and information is based on current education law and guidance and covers state funded education for children aged 5 - 16 years in England only. Our advice and information aims to give parents up to date knowledge of law and guidance as well as practical advice on how to work with their child's school to resolve any concerns. Our advice covers a wide range of educational issues.

First4Adoption

Is the national information service for people interested in adopting a child in England. We give clear and impartial information about adopting and can put you in touch with adoption agencies in your area.

Many adopted children can find school difficult. They will often display complex behaviour due to the trauma they experienced at critical times in their development. Consequently, the new environment may make them feel threatened and unsafe and this disrupts their learning, we can provide help and support.
