General Data Protection Regulations

What we will do with your personal information, should you make a representation to an application made under the Licensing Act 2003.

Telford & Wrekin Council's Licensing Service is collecting your personal information for the purpose of meeting the statutory requirement of the Licensing Act 2003.

Representations will be provided in full in a report to the Council's Licensing Sub Committee. A copy of the report is sent to the applicant and is also available for public viewing at Council Offices.

If any person making a representation wants personal data removing, you must contact licensing@telford.gov.uk at the same time as you submit your representation, giving reasons for this.

Application for a new premises licence

Aldi Store, Waterloo Road ,Ketley  TF1 5DT

The applicant Aldi Stores Limited are applying for the following licensable activities:

To permit the Sale of Alcohol (for sale off the premises only):
Monday to Sunday from 6am to midnight

Closing date for any comments to the application is 9 March 2026.
The application may be inspected by prior appointment at the Licensing Service, Telford & Wrekin Council, Darby House Telford & Wrekin Council Lawn Central Telford TF3 4JA. Please contact Licensing to make an appointment on licensing@telford.gov.uk.

Any "other persons" or "responsible authority" may make representations in writing to the Council at the above address. Alternatively, you can email any correspondence to licensing@telford.gov.uk.

The licensing authority is required under the Licensing Act 2003 (Hearings) Regulations 2005 to provide the applicant with full copies of any relevant representations that have been made.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application punishable on summary conviction by a maximum fine of £5,000.


Application for a new premises licence

The applicant Kaji Nuruzzaman is applying for the following licensable activities:

Sunday to Thursday from 12pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to midnight 
New Years Eve 12pm to 1am

Provision of late-night refreshment: 
Friday and Saturday from 11pm to midnight
