Primary to secondary school transfers

If your child was born between 1 September 2000 and 31 August 2001 he/she is due to start secondary school in September 2012. You must apply for a school placement so that your child can transfer from primary to secondary school.

The closing date for applications is 31 October 2011 (apart from Thomas Telford School).

If the Local Authority (LA) does not receive your application by 31 October it may not be possible to offer your child a place at your preferred school.

Please note: You should only apply to Telford & Wrekin Council if you live within the borough. If you live outside of Telford and Wrekin you should apply to your 'home' Local Authority (LA) - for example, the authority that collects your council tax.
