A team of planning officers that manage the development and production of planning policy documents on behalf of the Council. The key document that the team are required to keep up to date is the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan. The team also produce supplementary planning guidance in areas such as heritage, climate change and housing which supports better more sustainable development across our Borough.

Other key roles of the team include recording progress of housing and employment development through the production of Annual Monitoring Reports, aiding Parish and Town Councils in the production of Neighbourhood Development Plans and liaison with other Local Planning Authorities and infrastructure providers.
