Local elections were held in Telford and Wrekin on Thursday 4 May 2023.
New ward boundaries
The new electoral arrangements / electoral wards came into effect for the May 2023 Local elections.
New ID requirement
Voter identification will be required to be shown by all voters at a polling station. Voters at the polling station will need to show just one of the accepted forms of photo ID. If you don't have accepted photo ID, you can apply for a free voter ID document, which is known as a Voter Authority Certificate.
