Acquired brain injury

An Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) is an injury caused to the brain since birth or by another cause such as a fall, a road accident, a tumour or a stroke.

If you have or know someone who has an acquired brain injury there are different methods of support that may be available.

You can make contact with My Choice on telephone: 01952 385385 (when prompted please select option two) to talk about what support is available to you within your local community.

You may be eligible for a Care Act assessment. This assessment is focused on the outcomes that you would like to achieve.

There are lots of groups, clubs and services in the community that may be of interest to you, take a look on Live Well Telford.
