Lilleshall Hill

Declared as a Local Nature Reserve in 2020, the iconic 4.6 hectare hill at the heart of Lilleshall. Visitors walking up the hill will be rewarded with fantastic views of the borough.


Things to see and do

Lilleshall hill is a wonderful site located by the small town of Lilleshall. The hill offers a pleasant circular walk. At the top you can enjoy spectacular views of Shropshire as well as the 21 metre (70 foot) monument built in honour of the 1st Duke of Sutherland. If you are enjoying the area and wish to extend your day after a walk up the hill you can visit the nearby ruins of Lilleshall Abbey for free.

Parking

There is roadside parking along Hillside. For a longer walk, some parking is available in the centre of Lilleshall.
