There’s lots we can do to help. Find out what support is on offer.

Spark

With an increasing amount of pressure on schools to not only teach our children but to manage and support their behavioural, personal, social, emotional and psychological needs, we are in a climate where exclusion, isolation and poor mental health is at an all time high.

Children’s needs are becoming more complex and the need for assessment and careful planning to enable access to learning is hugely increasing.

Through providing a therapeutic environment that promotes physical, social and psychological safety and using a nurturing approach, we establish positive relationships with children and young people and work together to minimise and overcome barriers that prevent them from learning and enjoying their educational experience.

We engage children and young people by offering a bespoke and innovative curriculum, we encourage a passion for learning and focus on developing and improving attitudes, skills and behaviours such as; self-control, confidence, social skills, motivation and resilience – attributes that are thought to underpin success in school and beyond.

There is growing evidence that coaching children to be able to respond to setbacks, work well with others, build relationships, manage emotions and cope with difficult situations are skills that are important to children’s later outcomes.
